Since launching Peeples Ink in January of 1998, Patricia Peeples serves as president. A 20-year veteran of the ski industry, she is respected among journalists and their news operations worldwide. In addition to her strengths of pitching and placing regional, national and international stories for her clients, Peeples is skilled at relationship building, stakeholder management, issues management and crisis communications—critical to her role as counsel to senior leadership. Peeples handled public relations from 1986 through 1997 for Vail Resorts, the largest owner and operator of ski resorts in North America. Peeples started her company with the Vail Summer public relations contract, which she has managed since 1993. Peeples is a graduate of the University of Georgia where studied journalism and business. She took post-graduate courses in public affairs at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1997. John Buckley, senior client services manager, is a Vail native who came to Peeples Ink in 2000. Starting with the company as an intern, Buckley is now charged with overseeing the development and implementation of the communications plans for a variety of PI clients. Utilizing his experience in the tourism industry and his passion for travel and mountain sports and activities, he specializes in media relations with a focus on press familiarization tour logistics, event coordination, writing, press kit production and special project development. Buckley is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn. where he attained a bachelor's degree in English. Jens Werner came to work at Peeples Ink in the summer of 2005. As a client service manager, Jens commits himself to running calculated strategic campaigns for every client. Werner’s professional experience reaches beyond media relations, to encompass political, crisis management and event campaigns. He prides himself and Peeples Ink on an elevated commitment to client service and attention to detail. Raised in Central Illinois, Jens is a graduate of Illinois State University. After graduating in 2000, he moved to the Vail to work as the director of public relations at Vail Sports Medicine Physical Therapy. An avid climber, fly-fisherman, trail runner and hockey player, Jens lives in the Vail Valley with his wife and Labrador retriever. Katie Coakley joined Peeples Ink in June of 2006 as a client services manager. She enjoys the diverse aspects of public relations from media relations to event planning and project development and is enthusiastic about working with the wide variety of clients at Peeples Ink. Katie worked as the Communications Coordinator at Breckenridge Ski Resort prior to moving to Peeples Ink. She holds a B.A. in English from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. Since moving to Colorado, she has embraced her “outdoorsy” side by snowboarding, hiking, camping, and mountain biking. Natalie Fandrey is a client services manager at Peeples Ink. She is responsible for assisting Client Services Representatives in administrative, research and writing-based assignments. Natalie moved to the Vail Valley upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2006, where she attained a bachelor’s degree in Journalism-Strategic Communications. Raised in Edina, Minn., Natalie enjoys running, hiking and rafting and is eagerly awaiting her first ski season in Vail. PI professional membership representation includes:
